The dark chocolate coating is thick enough to give a proper snap before you hit that soft, sticky caramel and peanut layer underneath. I grabbed the XL size for a long hike and one bar was genuinely enough to keep me going without that sugar crash feeling.

The dark chocolate shell is thick enough to crack satisfyingly, and the caramel inside is properly gooey without being messy. I’ve already eaten three from the XL box this week, and the cassava syrup base keeps the sweetness balanced.

The nougat is properly chewy without being a jaw workout, and the organic cassava syrup keeps the sweetness from getting cloying. Only knock is the chocolate coating could be a touch thicker for my taste, but the peanut crunch makes up for it.
